What is ECO4?
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is a government scheme that requires large energy suppliers to fund energy efficiency improvements in homes across the UK. This means eligible homeowners and renters can receive free or heavily subsidised home upgrades.

Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible if you receive benefits such as Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit, or Housing Benefit. Even if you don't receive benefits, you may qualify under the ECOFlex route if your household income is below £31,000 and your home has a low EPC rating.
